Glorious Venue Decor on 68th Emmys

Although 68th Emmys Awards just happened last night, Hollywood actually had a full week of parties to celebrate this big event.  From 3 beautiful balls at LA Convention Center, to Audi pre-party at Catch, Entertainment Weekly Pre-party AT Nightingale Plaza, to HBO after party at Pacific Design Center,  each venue’s glamour decor really blew us away.  It was reported that “This year’s more rustic, organic look (for 3 balls) included more than 50,000 hydrangeas, 80,000 roses, and 20,000 succulents.  Here are some venue decor highlights:

  1. ‘Natural Elegance’—the splendor of a romantic, nighttime garden designed by Cheryl Cecchetto of Sequoia Productions. Inspired both by the beauty of old world gardens and the natural grandeur of the California landscape, decor elements include suspended canopies of cascading lilac, wisteria and ivy; a winding central pathway bordered by lush plants and grasses; rustic walls draped with foliage; and, flickering “firefly” lighting illuminating the room.

The menu for the event promotes California organic farm-to-table life style.

2. Audi’s Emmys Pre-party at Catch.  The restaurant will officially opens on Sept. 27th.

3. HBO’s Emmys After-party at PDC:

Following the Emmys, HBO hosted its annual bash at the Pacific Design Center’s fountain plaza. Working with HBO’s Cindy Tenner, longtime collaborator Billy Butchkavitz again designed the event. (It was Butchkavitz’s 18th consecutive HBO Emmy party.) The theme for this year’s production-heavy party was water, with a color palette done in seven shades of blue.hbo_emmy_2016_dsc5286

Hope you enjoy these beautiful venue design and we will upgrade this post later on.
