One of the things we are trying to do now is to find a little bit joy in every special moment. Here are things we are doing today from our morning workout, backyard garden, flower tea making, home-made cocktails, shabushabu and etc… . And this is live blog. So please come back for update.
It is truly a time for us to double down our wellness to boost our immunity, metal health and fitness. And we feel it is also important to have a routine workout despite all of public gyms are closed.
Pick up fresh blossoms from our backyard for some home- made tea or cocktails.
We love to use whatever surrounds us and make something interesting out of it. It is so so interesting and also a very good way to excise our imagination muscles.
We first made ourselves a cup of lemon leaf tea. It tastes pretty good and really calm you down. Another reason we love it there is no caffeine and pretty safe to drink it in the late afternoon if you want to have a good night sleep.
we love this tea cup and it is elegant and very Zen. One of things we learned is that a tea cup is actually pretty important for your tea drinking. The way it presents tea make us appreciate more about tea tasting. It’s truly an art. Here are steps to make your fresh lemon leaf tea:
1. Wash the lemon leaves thoroughly
2.Bring water to boil
3.Drop leaves in boiling water
4.Boil for 2 minutes
6. Turn down the flame to low
7. Cover and let simmer for 10 minutes
Here is our Sichuan hotpot tonight. We used a lot of Sichuan peppercorn–super spicy and yummy.
Sichuan hotpot is so good for a cold night.
