Color Inspiration from Nature

We were on an ING Live last night for an art opening and quite amazed by the color palettes by the artist. Those colors are such pleasures to the eye. And the artist said all of these color palettes came from nature. We couldn’t agree with her more.  We took a hike over this weekend and were stunned to see some really amazing colors from nature.

White is the color most often associated with perfection, the good, honesty, cleanliness, the beginning, the new, neutrality, and exactitude.  White often calms  your space and creates an airy and light atmosphere.

We saw some romantic purple shades. Purple is a hue associated with spirituality and beauty, and its rich tones are reminiscent of royalty and wealth. Purple is decidedly alluring and always a bold choice because it conveys luxury, power, and confidence.  Shades of purple often makes your space feel romantic and luxury.

And yellow!  Yellow is an uplifting color often associated with happiness. Bright yellows are confident and optimistic while mustard yellows are more earthy. If you want your space to feel playful and energetic, pull yellow into your room.

Happy Sunday
