I like to layer reds in different patterns and forms.

Sundays are our routine running days. After a hard work-out, we usually host a cocktail party in out backyard.

Home-made Creme Brûlée

For every weekend’s cocktail party during this pandemic crisis, we will try making one or two different cakes to just keep having fun and creativity going. For today’s cocktail party, we tried two new deserts: Creme Brûlée and berry summer Pavlova. We are on keto, so we don’t use any corn starch, wheat flour, sugar, syrup for our desserts. We usually use natural Stevia for sweetener(Researches show that Stevia will not raise our insulin. A rising insulin will then increase blood sugar.)

Berries are low in sugar and good to have them in summer time. Their colors are so pretty.

Since we only use egg yolks for Creme Brûlée and we used the rest of egg whites for making a Pavlova cake. Pavlova cakes only need egg whites.
