Pantone announces its color of the year 2021—PANTONE 17-5104 Ultimate Gray + PAN TONE 13-0647 Illuminating.

It is a surprise and not a surprise since this is only the second time that Pantone picks two colors as Color of the Year while the two colors transfer the message we really need in the current pandemic crisis–strength and optimistic.

According to Pantone, two independent colors that highlight how different elements come together to support one another, best express the mood for Pantone Color of the Year 2021. Practical and rock solid but at the same time warming and optimistic, the union of PANTONE 17-5104 Ultimate Gray + PANTONE 13-0647 Illuminating is one of strength and positivity. It is a story of color that encapsulates deeper feelings of thoughtfulness with the promise of something sunny and friendly.

We actually start to see sunny yellow to emerge both in fashion and interior design for a while, particularly pairing with gray —the duo combination is chic and refreshing. We just cannot wait to share the inspiration with you as followings.
