Our Easter Weekend Wildness Picnic

We explored O’Neil Regional Park in Orange County during our Easter weekend. O‘Neil Regional Park is a major regional park and greenway in northeast Orange County, California in the United States, located along Trabuco Creek and Live Oak Canyon. The park encompasses 4,500 acres of canyon and riparian zone habitat, and includes campgrounds and trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding. O’Neill Regional Park’s 4,500 acres are situated in beautiful Trabuco and Live Oak Canyons. The park is heavily wooded with coast live oak and sycamore trees. The hillsides surrounding the park are filled with cactus, wild buckwheat, sagebrush and chaparral of scrub oak, buckthorn and mountain mahogany.

The scenic wildness view and greenery shades provide such a stunning backdrop for our picnic tablescape.
