We came across this stunning restored mid-century modern villa on Capri when we searched for inspiration from internet today and it makes us truly miss the traveling. Just imagine that “Even in the dead of winter, summer blooms eternal on the island of Capri. As the year winds down, dense rosemary bushes carpet the precipitous hillsides, and orange trees groaning under the weight of ripe fruit perfume now tourist-barren streets.” Well, since we are still not traveling, let’s take a look at this villa together.

We love, love, love this custom-made concrete curved sofa–a very cool idea –a true sculpture and art in the space. A Jute area rug warms up this all-white space. Two mid-century modern wooden chairs are inviting. The hand-pulled terrazzo flooring is modern and playful with its enlarged pattern.

THE DINING ROOM
A stonework wall is the backdrop for a 1970s Mario Ceroli table and vintage Luigi Caccia Dominioni chairs for Azucena. The Stilnovo pendant and 1960s Paolo Tilche lamp (right) are both vintage, a custom console is topped with 1940s Gio Ponti vases, and the artwork is by Marina Abramovic.
We love the simplicity of this dining room. The space feels so breathable. The wood round dining table with a brass pendant above anchors the space with warmth. The upholstered minimalism dining chairs are fashion-forward. The off-center-hung art work is interesting.
We love the industrial vibe of the kitchen since the owner is a local legendary and the majolica wall tiles soften this kitchen space.
We have to say it must be quite spiritual to take a shower here.
