We love the organic feel about this new-built Vancouver home owned by a former Canadian hickory star. The house features understated hues and elegant lines which make the house very warm and inviting. Although it is new built, the house looks like it’s been there ages but with rather relevant modern twists. Here are our favorites.

The French lime-stone floors and an antique Italian marble table in the entry stand out in the backdrop of the classical white clean-lined wall panelings and set the timelessness tone for the interior design of the whole house. The table lamp on the console of the entry adds a touch modernity to the entry. The gilded framed artwork nicely pairs with a more muted vintage art to create a visual interest.

Living Room
The living room has a indoor-outdoor feel thanks to the whole-wall French patio doors which are open to a lush garden and flood in abundance of beautiful light during the daytime. The oversized stone fireplace has a country home feel while the light-grey upholstered sofa and a low-profile elegant settee bring in a soft touch and eegance to the space.
