Tour A Breezy Beach Bungalow That Will Put You In A Vocation Mood

It’s summer time, we all in a vocation mood and often imagine to travel far away and happily roam around in a relaxing island resort. But what about create one for yourself at home. When we came cross this adorable beach bungalow , it made us truly want to travel again. Its all-white paints for the whole house create a restful, serene and calming atmosphere that everyone cannot wait to chill in. We, honestly, still cannot understand why they keep saying white paints are going out of the trend soon. We love white, white paints, white cabinetry, white marble and white linens., etc… The truth is that white is timeless and will be here to stay. The key question here is how you can make a all-white kitchen and house fresh, unique and fun. So, today, let’s tour a breezy beach bungalow that may give you the answer and may make you feel in love with white more.

Entry

At the entrance to the main bedroom, a silver tray table purchased in Mexico City sits beneath a photograph the Freyres discovered in Positano. The 1950s image of fishermen casting their nets reminded Carolina’s husband, Pedro, of childhood summers he spent in Galicia, Spain, fishing in a similar fashion.

This entry is really our love at the first sight—simple, pure yet interesting thanks to a layered vignette. It allows you to shut down the outside noises immediately and take time to appreciate every detail and small things.

Family Room

Since this is a small house, the natural fiber rugs cover all of the flooring except the entrance to give that cohesive feel. Now comes to the family room. The playful mixing and matching layering make it so much fun to hang out in this room. All of the vintage pieces make you want to find out more about where they came from and what’s the story behind of each piece. The white paints on the wall and white sofa make the space feel airy and fresh without feeling too old or over-stuffing. The dusty pink and green on the stools and pillows soften the space with a touch of romance.

The woven wicker chairs and chandelier make the room feel more breathable while the pillows on the white sofa light up the room with pops of color.

We love this all-white sofa with a tailored look— elegant , soothing and restful. The rustic console and coffee table add some characters to the space while a jute rug anchors the space with warmth. the concrete stools have an organic vibe. There are books, artworks and tones of pillows to make you just want to sink into the sofa all day long.

We have to say that this ceiling tension rod system add just the right amount of edge. The texture on the runner, the pattern on the countertop, the natural materials on the bar stools, the cabinetry hardware all together layer up this all-white kitchen and make it timeless.

We love the contrast between this glam all-mirrored chest and a light-colored wood canopy bed. The details on the pillows add a touch of sophistication. And of course the lush green view outside of the window makes this bedroom an ultimate refugee to get away.
