Room Design—A High Ceiling Living Room With A Gallery Wall

It’s fun to incorporate some primary colors to home since they stimulate our sense and cheer us up. We all need a punch of color to feel inspired, don’t we? Primary colors also bring in intimacy in a high-ceiling space just like this living room we recently designed.

A High Ceiling Living Room With A Gallery Wall

This high-ceiling living we designed features a painted stripe-pattern gallery wall in light blue. The wider stripe pattern gives the space a modern feel. The blue on the wallpaper picks the blue from the artworks on the wall.

A cozy plush low-profile sectional sets the relaxing vibe for the room. The sectional has loose feather-blend back cushions and overfilled arms. Upholstered in an inviting ivory-colored fabric made from recycled plastic water bottles, generous seat depth feels prime for lounging. Zigzag sinuous spring wire suspension applied under cushioning to eliminate sagging, evenly distribute weight and create consistent firmness. Sectional pieces attach securely with alligator clip connectors. The sectional provides a perfect spot for a casual lounging, afternoon nap and family movie night. A pair of stylish chairs elevate the seating area with a touch of sophistication thanks to their hammered metal frames, delicate metal spindle legs and the antique nickel metal finish. The coordinating trimmed pillows on he chairs provide a finishing touch while creating a place for everyday escape in style. An asymmetric walnut coffee table has an interesting casual octagon shape, bringing in playfulness and softness to the space.

Last but not the least, we stacked a new Kit Kemp for Annie Selkie’s geometric rug to jazz up this rather neutral-toned living room with punches of color. This flatwoven wool rug contains over twenty colors, kilim woven together as geometric diagonally interlocking stripes, the pattern that talks to the stripes on the gallery.
