Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. We’d been busy traveling and making keto cookies for the holiday season and here are some memories I would love to share from our holidays. Enjoy!
The Pantone Color announced back Dec. last year that the 2017 Color of the Year: Greenery. It means “revive, restore, renew, replenish, regenerate, rejuvenate, reinvigorate, re-oxygenate. Design is an outlet for all of these fresh beginnings. And the yellow pigment in Greenery references the sun, the symbolic light that people need in these times.”
Yesterday by LA River, jacaranda flower pedals dressed up the industrial zone of LA—As If Nothing Magical Happened.
It will be always wonderful to visit some historical architecture in a sunny day. Adamson House , a enchanted beach house, located in Malibu, California, was built in 1929 by Rindge family. It is a typical Spanish Colonial Revival style home. We really enjoyed our day there. What really special about this house is the decorative tiles they used through the house. Such a beautiful craftsman-work!
When the weather is way too hot in Los Angeles, here is what I do beside beach-combing.
Saturday is always the day for me to explore the new things and find inspiration. Coffee shops, antique shops, flower markets,s tea houses… Love the atmosphere, the sophistication, freshness, colors and textures.
Traveling, experiencing the new things. Downtown LA is one of my favorite destinations to get inspired. Love its historical yet chic atmosphere. There are always new things happening.
Have you ever dreamed to wake up in the city with full of cool things to do? Welcome to city of Angeles. After years of renovation, Downtown has became one of the most dynamic and interesting places to go. You can find best architecture, interior designs, cafes, a little trendy shops, food, history , music, fashion, arts, etc… by just wandering around. There are surprises in every corner. My favorite is to walk around buildings: arte-deco, baroque, resonance, modern, neo-classic, mid-century, and enjoy getting amazed. The feeling is so awesome.
