We wrote about Anna Wintour’s office one year or two ago. The article is topped as one of our popular blogs. Her office style is just like the way she dresses herself, chic, clean, well-organized yet relaxing with feminine vibes. If you would like read this article, you can click here
And today, I am going to mainly focus on her fashion style since you know NYE is coming and we all think how to dress ourselves to welcome the next new decade.
We never see her dress sloppy or out of style at any public moment thanks to her signature essentials that have made her who she has been over the decades. So, let’s take a look together:
Sunglasses—we rarely see her without glasses .One of the most famous people in the world of fashion, Wintour, who has been editor since 1988 and artistic director for Condé Nast, Vogue’s publisher, since 2013, is seen sporting her heavy black frames to most runway shows and events. She even kept the glasses on when she sat beside Her Majesty the Queen at Richard Quinn’s London Fashion Week runway show in February 2018.
Her reason to wear the sunglasses often was well explained in a 60 Minutes interview in 2009, she reportedly said: “They are seriously useful. I can sit in a show and if I am bored out of my mind, nobody will notice … At this point, they have become, really, armor.”
Well, for whatever the reason, she just looks very cool with that pair of heavy-framed sunglasses.
Hi, guys, happy Boxing Day. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas Day. In US, we are back to work today and in UK, I guess your guys may have a crazy shopping day today just like the way we are on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. I did both and quite understand that hectic shopping experiences. If the physical shopping is not your thing( I know some of you may really enjoy that), I have something quite special for you today. But first thing first, I would love to show your our Christmas table because tabletop setting is always one of my favorites to do during the holidays. I just purely love all of the creative processes.
The flowers and greenery for our Christmas tabletop—yes, they are garden-fresh and are all from our backyard. I used Juniper branches, lemons, lemon leaves, camellias, red Christmas berries. They really help make such a lush and festive centerpiece for our Christmas tabletop. I love fresh real plants, branches and flowers. The natural smell always make me feel we are hosting a party in an outdoor wonderland.
2. Vintage plates. It is quite special to use some vintage plates on Christmas day to show off our special dishes. I always appreciate the details on those vintage pieces.
3. We’ve got some special drinks in stunning crystal cocktail glasses for this year’s Christmas–keto egg-nog
4. Last but not the least, we had some of these cuteClassic Bluecrystal bear miniatures and they truly light up our Christmas dining-table.
