Laguna Contemporary House Tour by Paul McClean
We were recently invited to a private party to take a home tour at one of Paul McClean’s latest contemporary projects at Laguna Beach. It was a beautiful sunny day in the valley and by the beach, there was a little bit marine layers, wrapping the whole beach town in a romantic sheer. And you can see in the following video, the neighborhood is kind of lay-back cottage beach house style which really makes Paul McClean designed home stand out. Ireland-born architect Paul McClean has become somewhat synonymous with the high-end housing boom in Los Angeles. He designed homes for celebrities and high-net-worth buyers that include Calvin Klein, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, and the Winklevoss twins — famous for suing Mark Zuckerberg. He likes to play light, air and water for his projects to create very Zen-like atmosphere.
Here are some high-lights that we really like in this contemporary house at Laguna Beach.
The video above is showing the lovely neighborhood.
And here is the entrance–very Zen-like.

The Colorful Urban Landscape of DTLA
DTLA has being gone through the major transformation within last several years. Every time, we are here, we always can see something new and feel something new. So it is pretty exciting experience to explore new DTLA for food, cafe, architectures, boutique hotels, museums, etc. And often the landscape of the mix -and- max of the new with historical buildings make the city so charming.
We were recently invited to a preview party of new property in China Town which is really close to city hall. The property is multi-purpose combining with retails and residential. I am pretty amazed by how they use the color, patterns and mid-century furniture they choose.
Happy Saturday
Coastal Maximalism
Every time when people talk about California coastal interiors, it is always kind of either white, cream or blueish color palettes with signature California lay-back vibes. But not for this one. It is located right at Corona Del Mar , So Cal and has a perfect polished modern classical style with maximalism in mind. The home is owned by Jerrod Blandino and Jeremy Johnson, the co-founders of the California-based cosmetics brand Too Faced. Then, I guess you expect some big wows!
Interior designer Mary MacDonald create such wonderful color palettes for each room:

A Quick Look Inside The Multimillion-Dollar Homes Of Tom Brady
Today will be Tom Brady’s 8th times to appear in the Super Bowel. Tom Brady(5-times Super Bowl Champion winner) may be considered king of the football field, but he’s also a big player in the real-estate realm. Brady and his supermodel wife Gisele Bündchen—the world’s second-highest paid celebrity couple—have owned property on both coasts of the country, from a solar-paneled mansion with a moat in Los Angeles to a sprawling spread near Boston.
Let’s have a quick a look at these multimillion-dollar homes to get a sense of their style.
Los Angeles—simplicity, coziness and eco-conciousness.
Brady and Bündchen sold their brentwood mansion to Dr. Dre in 2014 for $40 million, almost quadruple the $11.75 million they bought it for

Brookline, Massachusetts
In 2014, after selling their 18,298-square-foot Brentwood estate to Dr. Dre for $40 million, the couple returned to the East Coast to custom-design a new compound for $4.5 million. Their Brookline home—albeit about 4,000 square feet smaller than their Los Angeles abode—is no downgrade, however.
Gisele Bundchen shared images of their Chestnut Hill home via Vogue Italia, which will feature Bundchen on its February cover, set to release on Feb. 6. We are really looking forward to them soon. But here are some home photos from Gisele Bundchen Instagram account:
We can see it is a perfect place to unwind and has abundant natural light and neutral decor which add texture and richness to the rooms.
New York, New York
In August 2016, Brady and Bündchen became the first celebrities to score part of 70 Vestry, a new luxury condo in New York’s Tribeca slated for completion in 2018. The couple will reportedly sell their current Manhattan residence, a $14 million penthouse at One Madison in Flatiron, once they move into their new apartment.

Wake up in the City
Have you ever dreamed to wake up in the city with full of cool things to do? Welcome to city of Angeles. After years of renovation, Downtown has became one of the most dynamic and interesting places to go. You can find best architecture, interior designs, cafes, a little trendy shops, food, history , music, fashion, arts, etc… by just wandering around. There are surprises in every corner. My favorite is to walk around buildings: arte-deco, baroque, resonance, modern, neo-classic, mid-century, and enjoy getting amazed. The feeling is so awesome.
