Colors That Bring Hearts Pleasures

Time flies so fast. After we finished several projects, shockingily, it’s June.  Summer is here. I am truly in the mood for some bold colors since the recent projects we did all have sort of   restraint color schemes.    So,  let’s have some fun moment.

A Beautiful Tabletop

It’s middle of the week again. I hope you are all doing very well. I have couple of design projects going on simultaneously. I feel a little bit overwhelming and look for some inspiration to  just keep myself going.  I started to organize the photos for the events I have been to recently. I found something that really lights up my day—yes, a beautiful tabletop.  I guess color and fresh flowers always stimulate my brain to release more endorphin and make me feel happy. I hope you feel the same way too.

Pantone Fall 2018 Fashion Colors

It’s all about color story of originality, ingenuity and creativity through fashion.  The Pantone Fashion Color Trend Report for London Autumn/Winter 2018 features a bold palette of autumnal hues complemented by some more surprising shades.

For a yellow with plenty of bite, the tart and sprightly Limelight hits the spot. “Animated and effervescent,” Pantone explains that this, “pungent yellow-green becomes the center of attention.”

A beautiful orange, slightly more red than yellow, Russet Orange seems primed to take over as the new bold organic du jour — Pantone links it to nature and foliage, noting, “This forest floor orange speaks to earthen warmth.”

A rich silky hue that sits somewhere between the true yellow of gold and the greenish undertones of brass, Ceylon Yellow is described as a, “savory and spicy yellow [that] adds an exotic touch.”

A delicate, energetic floral shade, Crocus Petal feels like the sweet, barely subdued understudy to Ultraviolet. Pantone calls it, “A cultivated and refined hue [that] adds a light and airy spring-like feeling.”

A rich jewel-tone straight off of the classic autumnal palette, Valiant Poppy is a, “brave and outgoing red shade effusive in its allure,” according to Pantone.

This year’s Color of the Year pick, Ultraviolet is a vibrant, spiritual purple grounded by deep blue undertones. “Inventive and imaginative Ultra Violet lights the way for what is yet to come,” says Pantone.

Nebulas Blue is an electric, celestial shade, which Pantone describes as, “reminiscent of twilight,” and “a thoughtful, starry-eyed blue.”

Many of these unique shades easily stand on their own, however mixing and combining unexpected colors can help create a signature style or look. Adding an unexpected element allows for the artistry and originality that optimizes individuality…

Instagram’s New Favorite

It’s February.  I am really looking for some colors.   I  scrolled  through Instagram for inspiration and found this new beauty—-a recently repainted colorful Saguaro Hotel, Palm Spring.   New York based architects Peter Stamberg and Paul Aferiat originally designed the hotel with the vision of matching the fourteen hues to fourteen local plants and wildflowers native to California’s Colorado desert.

Friday Vibe

Friday Vibe

It has been a long and productive week. The most fun  thing to do now is to chill out at my backyard with a cup of latte. What is your favorite drink on Friday afternoon?  I am going through some latest designs for inspiration.  Coral and gray are two colors on my mind.  Somehow,  I find the combo very intricate.  The two colors together kind of balance off each other and create the relaxing yet cheerful vibe.  Maybe that is my expectation for the coming weekend. Here are some more pictures I curated for this fresh color combo from fashion and interiors.  Enjoy!
