We had spent our Saturday for a wildness Easter picnic during our hiking trip. Sunday, we hosted our own Easter party at home after a long run. Here are some of our photos from yesterday’s Easter tablescape.
We had to get up earlier and started to set up the Easter table because of the packed schedule of the day. The morning sunshine was very soft and it is a a good lighting to take some shots. The color scheme of this year’s Easter tablescape is light blush, oatmeal, white and pops pink, red and gold.
French linen is always preferred for our tablescape thanks to its relaxing and casual vibe.
We use a pink hydrangea as a center piece for the classical Easter pastels.
Easter is around the corner. Just in case you are still looking for Easter table ideas, we have some pretty awesome Easter tablescapes for you today. Please enjoy!
Tablescape Designed by Steve Cordony in Australia
A mix of classic but with a twist to create strong visual look that tells a story. Whether its blue and white, or neutral, crisp linen, interesting foliage or flowers and beautiful fruits on the table evoke a sense of a modern day still life painting.
Steve’s Easter Table Design Tips: I love to do a mix of classic but with a twist and to create strong visual look that tells a story. Whether its blue and white, or neutral, I love to use crisp linen, interesting foliage or flowers and this year I’m playing with beautiful fruits on the table to evoke a sense of a modern day still life painting.
Steve’s Easter Gift Idea: Wedgwood Folia Jasper mini pots – they are so versatile and textural and suit just about any home!
The beautiful textured white Japanes- inspired dinnerware with the crisp linen, interesting flowers and natural eggs of all kinds on the table evokes a sense of a modern day still life painting.
Tablescape Designed by Krayl Funch in North America
Featuring the iconic Wedgwood blue, fresh cut flowers and our beautiful Paeonia Blush is a spring time delight.
Krayl’s Easter Table Design Tips: As much as I try to plan ahead when designing my Easter table the truth is my final creation is almost always inspired by the flowers I find at the market or local garden shop. After months of cold and snow, vases and bowls filled with the scent of fresh Hyacinths, clippings of bright Forsythia and the ruffled petals of Parrot Tulips seem to guide my hand when selecting the dinner, glass and flatware to add to my table.
Krayl’s Easter Gift Idea: If I had to pick I would choose from either the Burlington Pots, Magnolia or Folia collections. They all feel truly Wedgwood with designs for modern living everyone will love.
This table setting for Easter explores fresh blooms and conveys the spring-time feeling of an English country garden. Perfectly accented by the popular Wild Strawberry pattern, bringing the outdoors inside.
Marianne’s Easter Table Design Tips:
An Easter table setting is made memorable by the china you are eating off and the accessories such as the best linen napkins and beautiful glasses. The Gio is perfect. I like to have a flower by each plate and a centrepiece of beautifully wrapped eggs to add some height and drama.
Marianne’s Easter Gift Idea: For an Easter gift I would give a Wild Strawberry tea set. It is pretty, charming and nostalgic. I feel as if I am taking tea with the queen when I use mine.
When the weather is warm and sunny, who wouldn’t want to have a nice outdoor brunch? Since we did pretty hard hike on Saturday. So we decided to have a simple backyard brunch after our routine running on Sunday.
Oscar Wilde once said:”With freedom, books, flowers, and the moon, who could not be happy?” With the arrival of the first day of spring, we went back to visit Chino Hill State Park for the spring bloom and we were not disappointed. The expansive scenic views of blooming wild flowers and the green grasslands on the rolling hills are just breathtaking.
We had spent much of the time in our backyard for cocktail parties and picnics last year due to the lock-down. And this year, with the still on-going pandemic crisis, we plan to do something different. The goal here is able to get away in nature and still enjoy the things we love to do in our backyard such as table setting over the weekends. So we searched the places that not only provide the amazing wildness with interesting trails to explore but also beautiful picnic areas in the park that we can just enjoy sitting around our picnic table. Last weekend, we decided to visit Irvine Regional Park. The park is so breath-taking. Irvine Park in Orange, California is a 160-acre park that became Orange County’s first regional park in 1897. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The park is so dotted with lush oak trees and is qiuite scenic for any kind of picnic. Then, there are quite a few trails to the deep mountains. Since this is our first time to come here, we will have to leave the hiking for another time. But here is our picnic table.
We found a picnic table by a lush oak tree which providesthe nice shade and breeze. The grass is so green in spring time. We decided to go with the classical red-and-white checkered outdoor tablecloth to set the tone for a rather rich-toned table color scheme.

Pastels—the mood is soft, tranquil and inviting.
Because Easter occurs in spring, the colors of flowers and flowering tree blossoms are often in the range considered “pastel”. Light blues, turquoise, yellow, green, pink, white, and lavender are all examples of such colors. Also, light orange or coral colors and light shades of turquoise are pastel Easter colors.
