Here is our September Room Design Series—an entry with a fresh fall feel. Fall is a time to slow down, get cozy, and take a deep breath. We have brought in this feeling to the design —layers of quiet warm whites to relax and rest in yet there are subtle pops of color that make you smell cider and cinnamon. The iconic animal prints are fun and whimsy. We love to play the tensions between the chic modern and clean-lined classical, the sculptural-feel minimalism and soft intricacy.Continue reading

Although we are still in the middle of hot summer, we cannot wait the coming of fall—the warm color palettes, cozy texture and fun pattern and the romantic feel about everything. “There is something so special in the early leaves drifting from the trees–as if we are all to be allowed a chance to peel, to refresh, to start again.” Yes, what we can imagine is golden light and painted trees. What about you and how the season of fall makes you feel?
In today’s fall decor series, we would like to present this chic and glam dining room with lot of rich earthy tones. The dining room design is inspired by nature and trend studies from fashion to home. The room is modern and fresh thanks to the mid-century modern inspired furniture. But we bring in some Neo-classical pieces such as antique brass chandeliers, the mirror and buffet lamps. The blue-and-white chinoiserie vases elevate the dining room with a sense of timelessness. There is craftsmanship about each furniture piece like the contrast pipings on the chairs and the rippling details on the dining table and credenza. Here are 2 new fall decor styles we love.
- A Look That Is Casual Yet Elegant.
The monochromatic handsome black leather lounging chair pairing with a coordinating black ottoman creates a sleek and sophisticated vibe in the space while the birch wood credenza with long legs and black finish is feminine and elegant. A wall sconce with enameled shades facing off in opposing sizes and tones is chic and unique. The unlacquered polished brass accents will patina beautifully over time.
Lush cotton/velvet frames the window in luxurious warmth. Rich in texture and beauty, plush taupe panels reduce sound and darken the room
A neutral New Zealand wool rug anchors the space and brings in extra softness, nicely contrasting with the black chair and ottoman. The rug is dye-free, using one of the oldest rug-making techniques, soumak to make rugs exceptionally smooth and durable.

2. A look that’s calm and soothing.
We love the deep seats and sink-in comfort look on the sectional–a perfect spot to cozy up for a cup of coffee in fall & winter. The palette of plush chalk-white performance cushions and upholstered light blue frame is coastal.
A pair of handcrafted rattan chairs with a low-seat profile are casual, relaxing, unexpected and chic. The coffee table with a natural accent lighten up the space. The round-shaped chandelier brings a touch of ethereal, with gold tones that add a little extra luster. And the capiz shells themselves are the perfect natural diffuser, illuminating the space with a soft, warm glow.
The pillows bring extra soft texture and classical patterns, adding a subtle nod to the nautical with seaside hues.
We fell fast and hard for this gorgeous rug. Expert weavers hand-select each and every abaca plant fiber, then weave them tightly together to create thick braids for a rich texture, a chunky weave, and fantastic durability.

Inspired by 1970’s modern silhouettes and unique materials, VUUE’s design turns a simple u-shaped form into a statement coffee table with extra-rich texture. Raffia wraps the piece, finished in hi-gloss ivory. Mixes effortlessly into any modern living situation.
Handsome hide. Introduce hide to your habitat via authentic aniline-dyed buffalo leather, revealing natural grain and texture that wears and softens over time. Hand-stitched quadrants shape up sides with flange edging. Squares up as ottoman or occasional seating.
Chic and serpentine showstopper. This head-turning accent rug features two slithering serpents, intertwined on a sapphire blue background with a bottle-green border. Water-resistant, stain-resistant, and machine-washable. Rug colors may vary slightly according to your device and the lighting in your space. Watch the video below to see how the rug can be washed.
