It’s almost the end of August. I feel I just cannot wait to see all of the new color palettes in fall. Here are 3 colors that I start to see them everywhere and they may dominate the this coming fall season.
Chili Pepper Red— a little bit red on accessories like purses, boots, socks, …etc pairing with warm neutrals is fresh, exciting yet classic and ladylike.

Cinnamon is a warm, medium shade of brown.
Cinnamon is darker than shades like tan and beige but lighter than chocolate or true brown. Its warm undertones mean the hue can sometimes look red or orange-tinged. Cinnamon color looks fashionable, youthful and sophisticated when pared with checkered patterns and animal prints.

If you’re looking for subtler colors to try this season, then sumptuous cream and beige tones are your perfect choice. The expensive-looking neutral shades are gorgeous when layered in different fabrics.

The favorite part for me is actually the patio lounge area. And when we got there, there were not many people. So I can really checked out all of the details.
First of all, I love how they use pink on the floorings and chairs—-such a cheerful color that light up everybody’s mood immediately.
And different shades and patterns of yellow and white on pillows give eye a rest and also create resort-like casual atmosphere.
Now you get some ideas to style your patio party with some dramas.
I usually started my Monday morning super earlier and love to start my week by searching inspiration from all aspects of life : fashion, hospitality, art, natural… By doing so, it usually drives away any possible Monday Blue. Although those images I chose below appears un-relevant to each other, they somehow connect with each other either in large scales, fresh color palettes, extranet forms, or unexpected pairing.
I usually spend a big chunk of time on Saturday to catch up with what’s going on in the fashion industry just to be inspired. I love to explore the fresh color palettes from the recent runways and street styles. Not surprisedly, when I enjoyed my organic oolong tea this morning in my backyard garden, I came across quite few exciting color palettes and some interesting ways of mix -and -match. Wow, these fresh color schemes really makes my day. Here are some of my favorites:
Hope you enjoy all of these. Please stay in tuned, we will bring these updated color palette to home soon.

When we are still embracing all of the shades of Pantone color of the year 2019 –Live Coral, PPG, the paint company with 135 years history just recently introduced its Color of the Year 2020—Chinese Porcelain. Just by the name, your mind starts to imagine those crisp Chinoiserie blue-and-white. Yes, it is kind of blueish color, combining rich cobal blue and moody ink blue. It’s calm, elegant, modern, chic.
Maybe because summer is here and I immediately fell in love with this color. I feel it is so ease on eyes and have a depth.
When we just came back KBIS a week ago, we were really blown away by some of the innovations in the show. After all, the kitchen is the fastest growing sections among the whole home improvement industry. We always see some of the coolest things in kitchen from pro cooking appliances, range hoods, to refrigerators, faucets, countertop, smart technologies, lightings, etc… Although I am still working on the blog of KBIS 2019 (hope soon I can publish it), we were invited to a local trade kitchen showroom industry event several days ago, and actually were able to see some newer trends and technologies in the showroom that resonate what we saw from KBIS2019. This kitchen showroom is not that big but quite modern, neat and sleek even with a luxury walk-in closet and some cool technologies. Ladies, who doesn’t love a stylish, open and airy walk-in closet with a lot of bells and whistles?!!! And last but not the least, we had professional chefs working in the kitchen and making some yummy gourmet foods. Here are some of our wonderful moments from this beautiful night!
Here are some cool things in the kitchen area:
Well, after being through all of those above kitchen experiences, I think everyone just cannot wait to create a pretty live-in kitchen for ourselves or host a family/friends get-tother event soon in the already-pretty kitchens. After all, it is a life style!
Ok, let’s continue our beautiful evening by walking to the rear of the showroom. Wow, here is the large walk-in closet:
When the sun shines through the windows, that is when magic happens. We realize it is spring time. Fresh, fashionable and feminine, this IS the theme for our Spring Story collection in fashion, home and art:
Finally, the rain stops today here in Los Angeles after a whole-week wet weather. And as usual, we start to enjoy sunshine. When the sun shines through the windows, that is when magic happens. We realize it is spring time. Fresh, fashionable and feminine, this the theme for our Spring Story collection in fashion, home and art.
I am always looking for inspiration from my surroundings, nature, tech, art… And , of course, the fashion. I am so so fascinated by this week’s Paris Couture Fashion Show. It is the best time to stretch one’s imagination. Don’t you agree with me?
One of my favorites is Valentino Couture. The house designer Pierpaolo Piccioli truely took ‘ Florals for Spring’ to a new level. It is beyond ordinary beautiful. From the fresh color palettes to romantic dreamy floral patterns, these designs are such joyful eye candies. It looks like the designer brought a spring garden to runway. I couldn’t wait to share them with you:
