As an interior designer, I often get my inspiration from fashion. So I stay tune with what’s going on in the fashion world. But this one, Moschino | Fall Winter 2021/2022 by Jeremy Scott , I swear, is the most hilarious fashion show I’ve ever watched! We guess everybody gets super creative under this uncertain time. Have a glass of cocktail or wine, sit back and enjoy!
Hope you had another successful week. At this pandemic crisis time, our wellness is far more important than anything else. One of the ways to take good care of ourselves is to be close to nature—fresh air, sunshine, blooms, greenery and birds…etc. Every Friday, we will spend quite some time in our rose garden for a meditation.
Another busy week. Time just flies. Hope you all have a fulfilled week. As usual, we chose some of our favorite Friday inspiration from Instagram and share them with you on our blog today. So have a glass of wine or cocktail, sit back and enjoy:
This is a dreamy place where we would like to spent weekends. Don’t you just love theses trimmed pink tablecloth–such a beautiful backdrop for all of the gourmet foods and landscaping on the canal.
Today’s LA weather is very nice–warm sunshine and a little bit of breeze. With Christmas around corner, I think it will be a perfect time to set up an outdoor table top and have a little bit high tea on this beautiful weekend sunny afternoon in Dec. Yes, we are just lucky enough to still be able to host a backyard outdoor party in Dec. My inspiration for today’s setup came from the designer floral fabric I got a year ago. I really like the elegant pattern of the fabric and always think how I should use this fabric for my next decor project. It looks like today is a day. The fabric will be perfect to cover my little French table for today’s outdoor party setup. It’s British, whimsical, floral and really mimics the garden. So, here we go:
Chinossorie, English china and some fresh casual floral arrangements with a lush greenery backdrop. Love the sunny day!
Antique emerald green tea cups—very British.
Rich fall colors? Love the brass, hot pink, sunshine and Macaron cookies!
Table by the lemon tree.
Start to play around the table-top decor. Love the color of lilac.
Such a soft and romantic afternoon glow.
It’s high tea time.
Here are 5 ways to host your backyard outdoor high tea party:
Just do it.
Start small—a small table, a fine table cloth will help you start the project.
Always keep your eye on antique tea cups—they are the Queen for your party.
The most beautiful moment of a day during earlier fall is the late afternoon when sun glow becomes soft, rich, saturated and muted warm. Everything at this moment just looks so adorable. I am still working on the design of our Halloween House. Hopefully, it is coming soon. Please stay tuned with us.
After all, it’s TGIF! Time to chill out a little bit. I spent some time shooting photos, shopping and having a sip of coffee…
