We have being enjoyed the nice sunny weather recently in SoCal. With approaching the end of Feb, it is the time to plan refreshing home for Spring. One of the magical way to fresh up home is to simply bring in fresh flowers and plants.
We recently visited Blackman Cruz. When we stepped into the showroom, a large fresh flower arrangement over a hand-made stone vase greeted us and make us so happy.
We love how the beautiful delicate flowers play with a antique console, sculpture and vase by the entrance.
In the showroom, there were a row of floral arrangements in the the newly designed resin vases.
We love how the artist arranged the flowers in such a fresh and relaxing way.
On the second floor, a fresh floral arrangement in a hand-made Mexico ceramic vase atop of an antique console lights up the dark corridor.
The colors on the flowers make you feel so cheerful.
Interestingly, with the presence of the fresh flowers, we started to pay attention to the craftsmanship of these antique case-goods.
It looks like that we really cannot get enough of this beautiful vignette.

We often have fun to mix high and low, old and new and of course different aesthetics. Mixing of all kinds will add interest and character into the space. In order to keep the cohesive vibe overall, we will have to use some common elements to thread through the different layers. And here is the case study for the corner space for the project we recently designed. We would like to create a chic, fresh, elegant, polished decor style while still keeping it inviting and cozy. Here is how we did it—today, we are going to share 6 tips on how we artfully mix high and low, modern and classical, old and new to achieve this goal.
Rule #1, always keep an overall color palette neutral if you are going to take a mix& match approach.
