One of the high-lights from PDC Fall Market 2019 is Timothy Corrigan’s new fabric collection with Schumacher. I was able to take some photos from the launching party.

I am totally obsessed with this new Timothy’s collection with Schumacher–they are modern, classical yet playful and will add a touch of haute cotour to any space.  I cannot wait to use them for our next projects.

Florals for Spring

I am always looking for inspiration from my surroundings, nature, tech, art… And , of course, the fashion.  I am so so fascinated by this week’s Paris Couture Fashion Show. It is the best time to stretch one’s  imagination.   Don’t you agree with me?

One of my favorites is Valentino Couture.  The house designer Pierpaolo Piccioli truely took ‘ Florals for Spring’ to a new level.  It is beyond ordinary beautiful.  From the fresh color palettes to romantic dreamy floral patterns, these designs are such joyful eye candies.  It looks like the designer brought a spring garden to runway.  I couldn’t wait to share them with you:

What do you think, don’t you love them all just I do.

For interior design industry, we love floral patterns too. They add a touch of elegance to any room to make it soft and romantic atmosphere:

Monday Inspirations

I usually have a long run on Sundays.  So I go easy on Mondays and schedule client meetings afterwards.  Monday is a perfect time for me to organize interior pictures I took when I went to show houses and places with beautiful room decor.  There are tons of them.  I will have to file them as inspirations for different projects.

First of all, my inspiration always come from nature. We happened to have a little rain this morning.  My backyard garden was so romantic in the rain and I shot this picture of a lemon:

The lemon with water drops make me feel so grounded, happy and peaceful.

Here are rest of interior pictures  for today’s filing:

Wherever I go, I always take  pictures of flowers.  They are just such beauties.

A beautiful table-set for a perfect autumnal afternoon tea.  Life is beautiful!
monday-3.jpg
To- the floor- drapery with a simple form yet a little details will always be a great idea to uplift a room, make it  warm, elegant and lady-like.  I love the pink and checkered floor–chic and classic.

soft and romantic. Love the trim detail.

This my today’s favorite.  Love the orange chinoiserie wallpaper and cream channel-backed mid-century sofa.  Nicely done for a mix-and-match style.

Love the   blue-white chinoisorie vase, cream lamp-shaded wall scone against lime-green glass-cloth wallpaper.

I hope you find those interiors inspirational.

Happy Monday

Oheka Castle—the film site for Taylor Swift’s Blank Space

Congratulate Taylor Swift for winning VMA’s  Best Female Video for her 1989 hit Blank Space last night. When I first time watched the video, I was amazed by the beautiful scenes in the video.  Most of scenes of Blank Space were filmed in the walls of Oheka Castle, the famous 109,000- square- foot historic hotel that once belonged to financier and philanthropist Otto Hermann Kahn.  The best way to enjoy the beautiful interiors of the hotel is probably by watching Taylor Swift’s video Blank Space. The belowing is the link. Enjoy!
