We have written several articles about Las Vegas Winter Market 2020, you can click here for the details. Today we are going to talk about some new designs that really caught our eye when we were there back in Jan.
One of the exciting things for us besides visiting Market is to check out the design in new hotels. Since our time is quite tight, so we just visited one or two new hotels.
Chic and sexy red sofa. Love the texture on it and super soft to touch and a lot of comfy pillows.

One of our Vegas trip for Winter Market 2020 is Eataly, a vibrant Italian marketplace located inside Park MGM that features an array of cafés, counters, bars, restaurants, and market. Eataly in Park MGM is the sixth U.S. location and 37th in the world. The first one opened in January 2007 in Torino, Italy. The name is a combination of Eat and Italy.
Well, our first impression is this Eataly in Vegas is so un-Vegas, which we love it very much. The market is located in such a big hall with a tall ceiling. So there are a lot of natural light.

Eataly, Las Vegas, is comprised of more than a dozen authentic Italian eateries and hundreds of high-quality products, offering visitors the opportunity to eat, shop, and learn their way through one of the greatest cuisines in the world under a single roof.
For us, we just love to check out the restaurant interiors in such a limited time.

We often dine in Nomad Hotel LA. So, for this Las Vegas Winter Market trip 2020, we really want to check out Nomad Hotel Las Vegas since it is just in MGM Park and we are always drawn to Parisian design. And yes, we were not disappointed. In 2016, when MGM Resorts International announced the $550 million renovation and rebranding of the Monte Carlo Hotel, it simultaneously revealed the opening of a 239-room boutique hotel on the upper four floors of the newly rebranded Park MGM Las Vegas. It would be the third location of the luxurious NoMad hotel chain, complementing its existing portfolio of New York and Los Angeles properties.
This hotels-within-hotels idea is actually quite common for many major Vegas hotspots — you can find a Four Seasons hidden within the massive Mandalay Bay resort, or the trendy Nobu Hotel residing on the upper floors of Caesars Palace. These “secret” hotels present an exciting option for Vegas travelers, since there’s typically nothing boutique about the massive, glitzy casino resorts lining the Strip.
Designed by French architect and designer Jacques Garcia, each of the 293 rooms and suites at NoMad Las Vegas are residential in feel and decorated in his timeless style with a distinct New York sensibility. Jacques Garcia, (born 25 September 1947) is a Frencharchitect,[1]interior designer and garden designer, best known for his contemporary interiors of Parishotels and restaurants. Each room is appointed with custom furnishings, original artwork curated by Paris-based design studio be-poles, Bellino linens, and large flat screen TVs. Many rooms also feature freestanding pedestal bathtubs and separate water closets. Today we will only focus on the public area.
The NoMad’s lobby had a dark, moody ambience to it. The atmosphere throughout all public spaces maintained an Old World, refined sense of luxury that seemed rather unique in a city like Las Vegas.
Vegas never shines away from bounty fresh flower arrangements.

Whenever I go to Vegas, I always love to schedule some time to check out the new restaurants. Ken Fulk is one of my favorites designers based in New York and I follow his Instagram. He recently posted this awesome restaurant he designed —Sadelle’s , Bellagio. It is kind of vintage New York vibe, very chic. I really like the color palette–pink, green, blue and gold— he used for the restaurant and decided to visit this time for my KBIS trip.
This is the shot from Bellagio Botanic Garden. Love all pale-blue ceilings and wall panels. The first impression—very un-Vegas but Paris-inspired instead.

Pleated brass wall scones—classic vibes
I think the main successes for this restaurant project:
Vintage and classic color palette;
Drapes and upholstery soften the 10,000 square foot space
What about food–“a breakfast-centric morning, power lunch spot mid-day, and a dinner experience at night right in front of the resort’s Conservatory and Botanical Garden as the backdrop” Click here and see reviews from foodies
