KHK Designs Spring Collection 2019

Finally, the rain stops today here in Los Angeles after a whole-week wet weather. And as usual, we start to enjoy sunshine. When the sun shines through the windows, that is when magic happens. We realize it is spring time. Fresh, fashionable and feminine, this the theme for our Spring Story collection in fashion, home and art.

Lavender is Ladylike

Wouldn’t you agree with me that lavender is ladylike ?  It’s refreshing, chic and elegant.  It’s a symbol of spring garden.  When it reaches middle of February we are really looking forward to spring.  Lavender , blush, pale blue with the pops of bright yellow and  pink truly make this living room a heaven.  Mix-and-match of chinoiserie, stripes and bold exquisite geometric pattern on the sofa trims make the room formal, sophisticated and whimsical.

Feel the Spring

wednesday19c9fe036d40169ba20d209e7210c044

The first Wednesday in April!  We feel summer in Los Angeles.   It’s a beautiful season to see the full blooms everywhere.   In case you are planning to do some makeover.  The best tip I can offer now is to bring some natural inspirations to home.  You will feel fresh, happy and exciting.  Here are 5 steps we took to make this Spring-feeling living room.

  1. Install floral wallpaper with the bright colors;
  2. Upholster sofa with white linen to make it feel organic and natural;
  3. Have several chairs upholster in bright yellow fabric to brighten up the room;
  4. Use dark silky drapery to create nice contrast with the floral wallpaper and pastels;
  5. Have a lots of fresh roses and greeneries.
