I always look forward to each Friday simply because I can spend more time in my backyard for meditation, stretching or just laying on the grass listening to some beautiful music.
And this Friday is quite special because we participated David Monn’s Light-a-Light event. David Monn , the founder and CEO of David Monn, LLC, is a renowned New York event master planner. Monn has been responsible for organizing and producing a variety of prominent events at locations like the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the New York Public Library, Guggenheim Museum, among others. His work is truly breath-taking.

It turns out closing yourself off to the rest of the world is actually a lot harder than it sounds. So if you are going to work from home or will start a self-quarantine, we will share 5 ideas here that may make all that solo time a bit easier and happier.
1. Stay calm

Finally, the hippocampus, where your learning and memory are found, temporarily narrows. Indeed, stress symptoms can affect your body, your thoughts and feelings, and your behavior. … Stress that’s left unchecked can contribute to many health problems, such as high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity and diabetes. And all of these stress will weaken your immune system and
Staying calm allows you to think logically and take decisions accordingly. Clarity of mind is extremely important while you are dealing with problems. If your mind is free and relaxed, your clarity on thoughts shall provide the solution to you. Staying calm allows you to discuss things rather than fights.
Also Apple just updated its support document on cleaning Apple products with new information that confirms it’s okay to to use a 70 percent isopropyl alcohol wipe or Clorox Disinfecting Wipes for the purpose of cleaning germs from your devices.

4. Have real plants, fresh flowers or grow your own kitchen herb garden at home. They will help regulate humidity and increase levels of positivity — seeing greenery and nature help us feel more relaxed and calm, which in turn benefits your every day mood.

One of the traditions about Chinese New year is to burn incenses to worship ancestors and pray for the best for the new year. The experience is just absolutely beautiful.
For this year, we created a series of interiors featured with Chinese antique and Chinoiserie styles to celebrate the year of the rooster. For this particular dining set in the following video, the inspiration comes from the tradition that Chinese burn incenses to worship the kitchen god on the 3rd day of the Festival.
