Outdoor Hiking And Picnic

We had spent much of the time in our backyard for cocktail parties and picnics last year due to the lock-down. And this year, with the still on-going pandemic crisis, we plan to do something different. The goal here is able to get away in nature and still enjoy the things we love to do in our backyard such as table setting over the weekends. So we searched the places that not only provide the amazing wildness with interesting trails to explore but also beautiful picnic areas in the park that we can just enjoy sitting around our picnic table. Last weekend, we decided to visit Irvine Regional Park. The park is so breath-taking. Irvine Park in Orange, California is a 160-acre park that became Orange County’s first regional park in 1897. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The park is so dotted with lush oak trees and is qiuite scenic for any kind of picnic. Then, there are quite a few trails to the deep mountains. Since this is our first time to come here, we will have to leave the hiking for another time. But here is our picnic table.

We found a picnic table by a lush oak tree which providesthe nice shade and breeze. The grass is so green in spring time. We decided to go with the classical red-and-white checkered outdoor tablecloth to set the tone for a rather rich-toned table color scheme.
