With most of us staying at home over 7 weeks, we more and more realize how important our home is to us, specially a healthy home. By this coming Friday, some businesses in California will be re-open. But we know it will take a while to go back the normal. And one of the facts of the new normal is that we will still have to spend more time at home. That being said, it may be a good idea to think a little bit deeper on how to create a home environment that makes us feel relaxing, soothing, comfortable and healthy. Rooms that inspire wellness create more comfortable and livable space for our daily routines. So, a healthy home is the foundation for a healthy life.
From today, we are going to talk 7ways to design wellness at home
Happy Monday! Hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend. As usual, we hosted another backyard cocktails last weekend. But this time is for Easter. And yes, we had some eggs which we dyed them naturally by using blueberries and beets. Instead the bright typical Easter colors, we want sort of organic vibes.

For any holiday celebration, nothing can beat a good-looking tables-cape with stunning textile choices that will cheer you up, make you feel festive and put you in a upbeat mood. So please treasure those vintage kitchenware and tabletop handovers from your dear grandma as you know life is more fun when we take time to make it beautiful. And also, be intentional collecting those beautiful pieces that touch your heart–one time a piece. Therefore, many years later, you will have stories to share with your family.
At this strange time, it is important to find joy in any moment. So, we decided to have a casual family picnic in our backyard last Saturday. It is spring and the weather is nice.
So under our lush lemon tree, we set up this picnic area. Yes, we want to use pink as base color since it will nicely contrasts with lush greenery and pastel spring blooms. And yes, we threw in a lot of plush pillows just to create that super comfy, chic laid-back vibes. Who wouldn’t?
And my Gosh, this is a truly heaven! And we love to mix and match different patterns of textiles just for some visual interest.
Wow, it is also such a special treat to do some reading right here. The greenery, spring blooms, lemon fragrance, sunshine, the nice breeze … etc, what could be better? Is this the best season of the year to enjoy our picnic at our backyard?
It is time to set up our cocktail table with some beautiful potted hydrangeas.
We are going to serve some home-made cocktails without sugar, rosé, Sauvignon Blanc
fresh fruits, cheese plates… Would like to join us?
And we love mix and match different patterns of textiles just for some visual interest. We also love collecting unique design of the wine bottles. We went a color palette of bright red, hot pink, pale pink, Classic Blue, light blue…. This is just such a dreamy spring color scheme that makes everyone happy.
The red on blooms is so romantic and cheerful.
Well, time to serve some wines!
