Frieze Los Angeles returns after the sold-out success of its inaugural edition last year and quite a few high-end furniture showrooms put up very impressed curated art displays together with their new furniture collections. From today, we will start to blog a series on art & design.
About artist Jeff Quinn: Jeff Quinn was born in 1964 in Bucks County, Pa. Jeff graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1986 with a BFA in Painting. Residing in New York for 33 years, Jeff has worked numerous shows, group shows and commissions. In 2003 he presented his first show for Ralph Pucci, and is currently teaching drawing and painting at the Parsons School of design. In May 2012 Jeff created a painted installation of over 3,000 square feet of floor and walls for Ralph Pucci during ICFF’s furniture design week.
Marjorie Salvaterra is an award-winning photographer, based in LA, who joined Ralph Pucci in 2017.

Chinese New Year is going to be Feb 16th. And we are brainstorming a special tabletop for both V day and Chinese New Year celebration. It’s going to a very feminine, romantic yet a cheerful color-palette theme incorporating Pantone Ultra Violet, vintage pink, some chinoiserie components. And of course a lot of fresh roses. The weather has been really nice lately. The roses in my backyard garden start to bloom. And there was Valentine’s Day. Therefore, I decided to do some spring make over a week ago. The color palette I used here is magenta, pink, lavender, gold and neutrals. Here are some vignettes I love to share here:
