A Kitchen Event

When we  just came back KBIS a week ago, we were really blown away by some of the innovations in the show.  After all, the kitchen is the fastest growing sections among the whole home improvement industry.  We always see some of the coolest things in kitchen from pro cooking appliances, range hoods, to refrigerators, faucets, countertop, smart technologies, lightings, etc…   Although  I am still working on the blog of KBIS 2019 (hope soon I can publish it), we were invited   to a  local trade kitchen showroom industry event several days ago, and actually were  able to see  some newer trends and technologies in the showroom that resonate what we saw from KBIS2019.   This kitchen showroom is not that big but quite modern, neat and sleek even with a luxury walk-in closet and some cool technologies.   Ladies, who doesn’t love a stylish, open and airy walk-in closet with a lot of bells and whistles?!!! And last but not the least, we had professional chefs working in the kitchen and making some yummy gourmet foods.  Here are some of our wonderful moments from this beautiful night!

Fresh flowers always make guests feel so welcoming!  I just love these saturated colors! They create a cheerful mood and beautiful moments.  It is always such a good idea to have some fresh plants and flowers in kitchens.  They make everyone happy and enhance the appetites!

The kitchen is quite modern and sleek. Yet I like how the showroom styled the food with wood trays –very organic, warm and welcoming ..

Pretty and organic!

Miele Coffee machine—How neat it is! The coffee station incorporating  a compact coffee machine in the kitchen is quite trendy in 2019.  It’s convenient and very handy.  Who wouldn’t love the coffee aroma in the earlier morning in our own kitchens?
Here is my espresso just made from Miele coffee machine!

Yummy and pretty!

Well, after being through all of those  above kitchen experiences, I think everyone just cannot wait to create a pretty live-in kitchen for ourselves or host a family/friends get-tother event soon in the already-pretty kitchens.  After all, it is a life style!

Ok, let’s continue our beautiful evening by walking to the rear of the showroom.  Wow,  here is the large walk-in closet:

Love the central island and above chandelier and of course the lovely tufted leather bench.
What a nice touch to be able to see your jewelries on the top island surface.

Obviously, I don’t have any problem to just chill out here for the whole day!

A Chic Dressing Room

It is International Day of Happiness.  And it is Monday.  For all the ladies out there, I guess the best way to start the week is to spend some time in a lovely dressing room, maybe with some high tea…    I always love to organize my week starting from organizing my dressing room.    What about you?  Here are 5 ways to create a chic dressing room you are deserved:

  1. It really doesn’t need to be a room.  It can be just a corner of the room with some seating area and a center table or island.
  2. Have the bench next to the island table to make it convenient and stylish.
  3. Have a lot of pillows with cool prints.  It’s cozy.
  4. A table lamp and chandelier make the room or space very chic and upscale.
  5. Trimmed roman shades somehow make the space look very elegant and neat.
  6. Yes, fresh flowers, please.

5 Fab Celebrity Walk-in Closets

Nantte Lepore, Fashion Designer

Love this open and airy feeling. Love the torquise chic tufted ottoman contrasting with berry-color 18-century Chinese antique area rug. Love the artwork.  Isn’t fun?  The mirrored chest and chanderlier make the space light and reflective, completing the luxury looking.

Christina Aguilera, Singer

Fashion is to show, not to hide away, isn’t it? Love this open shelves in pink color. Love the red chandelier, red rouge drapery.  It’s  a story about drama, femininity and class.

Yolanda Foster, TV Personality and Interior Designer

Love the open feeling and nice floral arrangement.  It will be easier to find the items through those glass doors. Also, these see-through glass doors make the space light.

Mariah Carey, Singer, Song Writer and Actress

Well, this is to-go idea when you have the space and beautiful things.  Mariah Carey also hosts events here—very good idea. I love the seatings everywhere.

Kim Kadarshian

This is Kim’s shoe closet. I love this vignette. Such a cozy space to try all of the beautiful pairs on. Love the French chair and wall panelling.

Fashionable Walk-in Closet

Interior Design by KHK DESIGNS

“The most courageous act is still to think for yourself. Aloud.”–Coco Chanel

This is the place that my imagination goes wild.  It is not cookie-cutter closets you see everywhere.  It is fashionable, romantic and truly personalized.  I used pastel color palette to make the space more feminie. I installed the water-color wall paper on the wall to  beautify the space and give it a life. Different storage and display solutions were applied to make it more functional and fun rather than installed cabinets everywhere.  There is  a seating area for extra comfort. The vanity display tray is so adorable and elegant.  Ladies, would’t you love to hang out in this stylish walk-in closet  over your weekend?
