Getting ready for the party–small details do matter.Ready for a photo shooting for Halloween tabletop. Here is a relaxing and fun Halloween party table.
It is one day away from Halloween. We FINALLY feel the chill of fall in Los Angeles thanks to the strong Santa Ana wind today. Our yesterday’sCelebrate Color of Orange—5 Ways to Incorporate Color of Orange into Your House has gotten super popular. If you haven’t read, you can click here to read. Today we are going to share 4 spiced pumpkin rooms from Schumacher Archive.
The cream walls and ceiling balance off the saturate orange color on the floor. Even through there is a drama, overrall, it is still a pretty calming space thanks to large areas of cream colors and symmetrical design.
I feel this is a perfect place for me to have a warm fall afternoon nap with soft sunlights. The chinoiserie wallpaper on the walls adds touch of elegance.
Spiced pumpkin drapery is such a nice contrast with the timeless black-white geometrical-patterned wallpaper. The pairing is just like a balanced Yin and Yang. I am always drawn to a skirted table-cloth on the round table in the living room. Somehow, a table-cloth always elevates the space in a second. Suddenly we are ready for a gathering. And of course, the yellow roses on the blue-and-white vases just add another cheerful layer in this happy moment.
Well, we all need a moment to just loose up. This orang-color enveloped space is cheerful yet relaxing with Bohemia vibes.
Hi, guys, Halloween is just around the corner. It is time to celebrate the color of Orange. Orange color is dynamic, youthful, energetic and fashion-forward and can be used to create modern, traditional or any eclectic interiors. However, most of people feel it might be kind of challengable to put color of orange in the houses. So, here are 5 ways WE SUGGEST to incorporate color of orange into your house
Pop of color on home accessories, objects and accent furniture, bedding trims …etc.
Well, if you are always not quite sure about the bright colors, you can try to use the color of orange on your favorite home accessories, objects.

A focal orange wall echos with orange pillows and floral fabric–it’s cheerful and energetic.
Very classical take and the color of orange brings a touch of modernity to this vignette space.
It’s a drama with a harmony note.
3. If you are a forward-thinker and you can try to use the color for the whole house.
It had been super busy in the last several days from WestEdge show to working on the on-going projects. WestEdge is hosted every year at the end of Oct mainly to show local small home goods makers’ handcrafted products in Los Angeles and of course some global brands in kitchen and bath as well. The show venue is usually modern and chic. I partially enjoy their outdoor lounge area in the beautiful SoCal sunshine in fall. Here are 3 homes trends we saw from this year’s show:

2. Dramatized Lighting Fixtures:
3. Fashion-forward Decorative Pluming Hardwares:

The blog talked about how Anthony Baratta, Williamsburg Foundation’s first ever residential designer uses Benjamin Moore’s Williamsburg® Paint Color Collection to transfer this living museum as his home. Tony is known for his bold color signature style. So the overall color application is quite breath-taking.
Collaborating with The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, Benjamin Moore actually introduced Williamsburg® Paint Color Collection with 144 colors back 2013. Here are some of my favorites:
Upper Walls: CW-585 Ewing Blue Lower Walls: CW-30 Market Square Shell Ceiling: CW-595 Chesapeake Blue Trim: CW-5 Harwood Putty
Walls: CW-50 Tyler Gray Ceiling: CW-650 Palace Pearl
Walls: Washington Blue CW-630 Highboy: Cornwallis Red CW-315
Here are several more:
A stunning example of the depth of color unearthed by Colonial Williamsburg research is seen here in this powder room, painted in Carter Plum CW-355.
Bassett Hall Green CW-480, shown on the walls of this stairwell, with risers in Geddy Gray CW-720, reflect how the traditional paint colors of the Williamsburg® Paint Color Collection can combine distinct colors for a fresh and sophisticated look.
Well you can tell that the color palettes for Williamsburg Paint Color collection are truly timeless and quite adapt to today’s contemporary living.
In case you are planning to do some fresh make-over for your home to celebrate the coming holiday season, this might be the perfect paint collection for you. And you can explore the whole Williamsburg® Paint Color Collection by clicking here
