A Quick Look Inside The Multimillion-Dollar Homes Of Tom Brady

Today will be Tom Brady’s 8th times to appear in the Super Bowel.  Tom Brady(5-times Super Bowl Champion winner) may be considered king of the football field, but he’s also a big player in the real-estate realm.  Brady and his supermodel wife Gisele Bündchen—the world’s second-highest paid celebrity couple—have owned property on both coasts of the country, from a solar-paneled mansion with a moat in Los Angeles to a sprawling spread near Boston.

Let’s have a quick a look at these multimillion-dollar homes to get a sense of their style.

Los Angeles—simplicity, coziness and eco-conciousness.

Brady and Bündchen sold their brentwood mansion to Dr. Dre in 2014 for $40 million, almost quadruple the $11.75 million they bought it for

Brookline, Massachusetts

In 2014, after selling their 18,298-square-foot Brentwood estate to Dr. Dre for $40 million, the couple returned to the East Coast to custom-design a new compound for $4.5 million. Their Brookline home—albeit about 4,000 square feet smaller than their Los Angeles abode—is no downgrade, however.

Gisele Bundchen shared images of their Chestnut Hill home via Vogue Italia, which will feature Bundchen on its February cover, set to release on Feb. 6. We are really looking forward to them soon.  But here are some home photos from Gisele Bundchen Instagram account:

We can see it is a perfect place to unwind and has  abundant natural light and neutral decor which add texture and richness to the rooms.

New York, New York

In August 2016, Brady and Bündchen became the first celebrities to score part of 70 Vestry, a new luxury condo in New York’s Tribeca slated for completion in 2018. The couple will reportedly sell their current Manhattan residence, a $14 million penthouse at One Madison in Flatiron, once they move into their new apartment.

6 Ways to Bring a Little Lagom to your Interiors

Hygge might have been the décor buzz word in the last couple of years.   But this year,  Lagom, a Swedish concept is set to change the way we decorate our homes and look after our health and well-being.

Unlike hygge—the Danish idea of “coziness” that promotes warmth and comfort—lagom is a life style.  It means   “just the right amount,” focusing  on moderation and creating the perfect balance between not too much and not too little across everything from work/life balance to financial well-being.

Coming across a lot of recent designs and Instagram,  I feel that lagom interiors may be on the way to become one of the  design trends to watch in 2018!  Here are 6 ways to adopt a little lagom into your interior today:

  1. Efficient flow: Creating balance in a space is much more than just the aesthetics of the room, is also incorporates the way that the room flows and how it supports the way that you use it.  Will the scale of the furniture fits the space or overwhelm the space?    Can you comfortably move around the room without having to squeeze past furnishings? Meeting needs such as these, without overcomplicating the design is an important component of lagom interiors – take a practical approach to the design process for a space that offers everything you need. LAGMON-2061369-1485546693.640x0c
  2. Calm color palettes: The color of your home can have a profound impact on your mood and well-being.   We all find that calm, soothing natural colors such as white gray, muted pastels and light earthy tones can absolutly relax us and provide a simple and fuss-free foundation for a beautifully balanced room.
  3. Practicality  and functionality: There is a purpose for each room and decor accessories in terms of functionality and the way it triggers your emotion.
  4. Natural materials and craftsmanship: : Lagom promotes to make things less complicated and allow the natural beauty of materials and artisan craftsmanship to shine such as celebrating the grace of woven natural materials, the warmth of raw oak and the purity of soft cotton. IMG_2894.jpglagomscandinavian-traditional-kitchen-sweden-sweden-by-sigmar-2Lagom-Decor-2
  5. Layer effect: Tone-on-tone theme with various textures and materials to creat a warm yet sophisticated space.  lagomeclectic-bathroom-stockholm-sweden-by-studioilse-1Lagom-Decor-17
  6. Mix something new and something old to build up characters and personality: The antique, vintage pieces always add history, depth, story and charisma to the space, making it fun to live with and often spark a good conversation.  NPLivingroomholidayguestroom-1kitchen24.jpgIMG_3827.jpgblackinteriors.jpgLagom-Decor-18

High Tea, Please—My Backyard Pre-Christmas Outdoor Party

Today’s LA weather is very nice–warm sunshine and a little bit of breeze.  With Christmas around corner, I think it will be a perfect time to set up an outdoor table top and have a little bit high tea on this beautiful weekend sunny afternoon in Dec. Yes, we are just lucky enough to still be able to  host a backyard outdoor party in Dec. My inspiration for today’s setup came from the designer floral fabric I  got a year ago.  I really like the elegant pattern of the fabric and always think  how  I should use this fabric for my next decor project.  It looks like today is a day.  The fabric will be perfect to cover  my little French table  for today’s outdoor party setup. It’s British, whimsical, floral and really mimics the garden.   So, here we go:

It’s high tea time.

Here are 5 ways to host your backyard outdoor high tea party:

  1. Just do it.
  2. Start small—a small table, a fine table cloth will help you start the project.
  3. Always keep your eye on antique tea cups—they are the Queen for your party.
  4. Have fresh flowers.
  5. Order macaron cookies in different colors.

Happy Weekend

Friday Vibes

The most beautiful  moment of a day during earlier fall is the late afternoon when sun glow becomes soft, rich, saturated and muted warm.  Everything at this moment just looks so adorable.   I am still working on the design of our Halloween House.  Hopefully, it is coming soon.  Please stay tuned with us.

After all,  it’s TGIF! Time to chill out a little bit.  I spent some time  shooting photos, shopping and having a sip of coffee…

Sunday Farmer’s Market

One of my favorite things to do on weekends is to visit the local farmer’s markets.  I can truly enjoy myself by strolling around and literally get inspired by garden fresh and little cute vintage founds.  We have quite a few in Los Angeles.  I go to different ones for the different weekends.  Here are some  shoots I took today.  Fall hues and textures in the farmer’s market are so gorgeous!  I cannot wait to work on some fall-themed table settings next week.   It was such a pleasant experience to immense myself in fresh veggies, flowers, home-made foods in this beautiful Southern Californian fall sunny day!
